"Bedtime!" said the mother. "No!" said the boy. This boy is not ready to go to sleep. So he revs up his little red car and drives away so fast that his mother cannot catch him. He drives to a magical land filled with larger-than-life toys. But the toys are all too tired to play with him. The tiger is too sleepy to practice roaring, the train would rather rest than race, and the musicians insist on playing a lullaby that puts the boy's car to sleep. How will he get home now? Luckily someone is still awake, and she's on her way to pick the boy up and tuck him (finally!) into bed. // "¡Hora de dormir!", dijo la madre. "¡No!", dijo el niño. Este niño no está listo para dormir. Así que acelera su pequeño coche rojo y se aleja tan rápido que su madre no puede alcanzarlo. Conduce hacia una tierra mágica llena de juguetes gigantescos. Pero los juguetes están demasiado cansados para jugar con él. El tigre tiene demasiado sueño para practicar el rugido, el tren prefiere descansar a correr, y los músicos insisten en tocar una canción de cuna que pone a dormir el coche del niño. ¿Cómo volverá a casa ahora? Por suerte, alguien sigue despierto, y ella va de camino a recoger al niño y a arroparlo (¡por fin!) en la cama. |
